Buy your ticket before getting on the bus (at shops displaying the sign "Biglietti e abbonamenti Ataf".

You have to stamp the ticket on the bus using the machines. The standard tickets is valid for 1 hour and costs 1 Euro. You can buy one-day tickets that you can use for 24 hours on all ATAF buses.

The centre is a no-traffic zone, but you can get there by bus. There are 4 lines of environment-friendly buses, called "bussini":

• Line A: from the train station to Piazza Beccaria (West to East and back)
• Line B: along the river Arno (Lungarno), from Piazza Vittorio Veneto to Piazza Piave (north bank West to East and back)
• Line C: from Piazza San Marco to Santa Maria Soprarno (North to South and back, on the east side)
• Line D: from Piazza Ferrucci, to Palazzo Pitti, crosses Ponte Vespucci and ends at the train station (South East to North West and back)

The nearest bus stop is at 100 mt. from the Kraft Hotel, where you can catch a B-line bus. At 150 mt., in Via Curtatone, you can catch a D-line bus.
